New Nate Robinson Mix 2
Friday, 04 September 2009

Nate Robinson

This is video is dedicated to Nate Robinson. Nate is one of the few players in recent years that reminds of the Knicks players of the 90's.

The music I selected is from Jadakiss and Cormega. The Jadakiss track is called, "Throw Your Hands Up". The second track is from Cormega titled, "Get Out My Way". Cormega's new album will be out October 20, 2009. Let me also add that Cormega is a big Knicks fan. You can purchase both tracks on itunes and Amazon.com

Words From David Lee
Monday, 17 August 2009

After remaining quite for some time, David Lee finally speaks again on his situation with the Knicks. Here is what was reported by Mike Dougherty:

"It's been a little frustrating, but my agent came up a couple of weeks ago and we had a meeting with Donnie Walsh and Mike D'Antoni and found out where we were, and the purpose behind what's going on, and it kind of all makes sense to me now," Lee said. "We agreed on what I thought I was worth, so it's not a money issue. What it comes down to is they need their flexibility for the 2010 summer. Whether they can get LeBron or not, they need to have the flexibility to make a run at a guy like that. And that's completely understandable from my standpoint. We're going to continue to work on a few sign-and-trade possibilities; otherwise, we'll continue to work on a one-year-deal."

Very few teams are spending money, so there haven't been any free-agent offers, which the Knicks have the right to match. There was a meeting with Portland in Las Vegas, but there was little common ground.

A sign-and-trade would be extremely difficult since there are strict base-year-compensation rules that could get in the way.

"It has to be something where the Knicks can dump another salary or get another player in return they really want to have around," Lee said. "There's a couple of possibilities out there, and we'll see if those come true, otherwise we'll start talking to the Knicks about what we want to do for a one-year deal." Read More

Latrell Sprewell Mix-BigC

Latrell Sprewell
This mix is deicated to one of my favorite Knicks and players of all-time. Sprewell was a player that was underrated by many. Even today people forget about his contribution to the Knicks success in the 90's.
The music that I selected is from one of the best rappers ever to get on the mic. Yet to this day people forget about the rap skills of the legendary artist known as Big Pun. This track from Big Pun is called, "Dream Shatterer". You can buy the track from Amazon.com or on itunes.

Knicks Eyeing Andre Miller
Sunday, 12 July 2009

New York Daily News-LAS VEGAS - Knicks president Donnie Walsh and his staff are meeting here this weekend to discuss whether they should gamble on pursuing free agent point guard Andre Miller.

The club is denying a published report that the Knicks and Sixers are working on a sign-and-trade that would send Chris Duhon to Philadelphia for Miller. However, one team official said that it is a plausible alternative if Miller turns down a one-year, $5.85 million contract. The Sixers, of course, would have to agree to the deal and would likely ask for a draft pick or cash to complete the trade.

Miller was hoping to secure a three-year, $30 million contract before the free agent market dried up. If Miller accepts the Knicks' contract offer, he could reenter the market and potentially make more money next summer when more teams have cap space.

A sign-and-trade for Duhon would allow the Knicks to offer Miller $7.6million (125% of Duhon's salary for next season, plus $100,000). Miller is not on the same level as Jason Kidd, who rejected the Knicks' contract offer last week, but at 33, he's three years younger than Kidd and would be an upgrade over Duhon, who struggled over last season's second half. Jordan Hill Report
Sunday, 12 July 2009
Newsday- LAS VEGAS - Jordan Hill took part in his first practice as a Knick yesterday just a few short hours after the eighth overall pick signed his rookie contract. The 6-10 forward signed the typical rookie scale three-year deal worth $6.65 million, with a fourth-year team option for a 27 percent raise.

Hill has the height and athleticism the Knicks sorely lacked last season and also possesses a decent midrange game. It will take some developing before he becomes a go-to threat on the post, but he is expected to compete for a key spot in Mike D'Antoni's rotation this season. Read Full Article
